Why teams choose Sosene for iOS app development
Good iOS app development starts with what users expect: apps that feel native, respect their privacy and simply work. So we build in Swift with Apple’s own frameworks and keep up with each new iOS release. We also use AI in the workflow. As a result, more of your budget goes into the features your users see.
Native Swift and SwiftUI
Current Apple frameworks by default, with UIKit where your app or its libraries still need it. No wrapped web views pretending to be native.
Built for App Store review
We follow the Human Interface Guidelines and review rules from the first screen, so approvals are not a surprise at the end.
Privacy handled properly
We plan permissions, data collection and privacy labels with you, then build them as agreed instead of adding them the night before submission.
Ready for each new iOS
When Apple ships a new version, we test against the betas and update your app before your users notice a problem.
An iOS app that feels at home on every Apple device
We design for iPhone first and adapt to iPad where it adds value. We also follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, with support for Dark Mode, Dynamic Type and accessibility features. In addition, we check performance on older supported devices, because not every customer upgrades each year.
iOS app development services we offer
Whether you need a first version or help with a mature app, our iOS app development team fits in where you need us.
Custom iOS app development
New iPhone and iPad apps in Swift, structured to grow without costly rewrites.
iOS UI/UX design
Interfaces that follow Apple’s patterns, prototyped and tested with users before development.
SwiftUI migration
Older UIKit or Objective-C code moved to modern Swift step by step, while new features keep shipping.
Integrations and Apple services
Payments, Sign in with Apple, push notifications, HealthKit or other frameworks your product needs.
Testing and quality assurance
Unit and UI tests plus device testing, with AI drafting test cases and a QA engineer deciding what ships.
App Store release and support
TestFlight betas, submission, phased releases and ongoing updates, all under your own Apple developer account.
Three ways to work with an AI-driven team
The commercial model changes with your goals. The way the team works does not.
AI-assisted full outsourcing
Project-based delivery
We take ownership of the whole project, from discovery and solution design through build, testing, deployment and launch. Delivery runs under agile governance, with AI applied to requirement analysis, development support, QA preparation, documentation and reporting. A named engineer signs off on every output.
AI-driven dedicated agile team
A standing team with committed sprint outcomes
A dedicated agile team aligned to your roadmap and your backlog. Sprint deliverables are planned and agreed with you against your priorities, backlog readiness and team capacity. The team applies AI across the lifecycle, from requirement analysis and user stories to coding, QA, documentation and sprint reporting.
AI-enabled staff augmentation
Specialists under your direction
Technology professionals who join your in-house team and work under your direction, process and management. They bring the technical depth you asked for plus AI-assisted working methods, which shows up as faster development, better documentation and stronger test preparation.
How an iOS project runs with Sosene
Our iOS app development process has six stages, shaped around your product and your release calendar.
01 Discovery
Goals, users, required Apple features and the devices and iOS versions to support.
02 Design
Flows and screens in Apple’s design language, validated as prototypes.
03 Architecture
App structure, data handling and privacy plan, documented for the whole team.
04 Build and test
Sprints with CI builds, automated tests and TestFlight builds you can try yourself.
05 Submission
App Store listing, review preparation and a phased release.
06 Support
After launch, the team that knows the code handles new iOS versions, fixes and new features.
What keeps delivery predictable
Speed only counts if the result holds up. These practices sit behind every engagement, whichever model you choose.
Project foundation
- Scope defined together, in writing
- A team composed for the work, not the average
- Roadmap and milestones agreed up front
Cost control
- A transparent estimation method
- Build order driven by business value
- Savings that never come out of quality
Collaboration
- One communication framework, not five
- Roles and responsibilities named per task
- Regular alignment with your stakeholders

- Continuous monitoring through the lifecycle
- A named owner for each mitigation
Change management
- A single route for change requests
- Impact assessed before anything is committed
- Approved changes scheduled without drama
Quality assurance
- Success metrics agreed at the start
- KPI reporting you can check yourself
- Improvement cycles between releases
Knowledge transfer
- Structured documentation, kept current with AI
- Handover built into the plan, not bolted on
- Technical specifications written to be used

- The same team available for the next phase
Frequently asked questions
Do you use SwiftUI or UIKit?
SwiftUI for new work in most cases, because it is faster to build and maintain. We use UIKit where a feature, a library or an older minimum iOS version still requires it, and the two can run side by side.
How do you avoid App Store rejections?
By designing to Apple’s guidelines from the start, handling permissions and privacy labels correctly, and reviewing each build against the review rules before submission. When Apple does ask for changes, we handle the response.
Can you work on our existing iOS app?
Yes. We begin with a code review, stabilise the release process, then continue with your roadmap. Legacy Objective-C is fine.
Should we build iOS and Android separately?
If performance and deep platform features matter most, yes. If you need both quickly on one budget, a cross-platform build may fit better. We explain the trade-off for your case.
How iOS app development engagements are priced
Two commercial models, and one honest answer about numbers.
| Fixed price | Time and materials | How we reach a number |
|---|---|---|
| One price agreed in the contract. It fits feasibility studies, proofs of concept and small pieces of work where the requirements are settled and unlikely to move. | You pay for the hours worked each month, with an optional cap that sets a ceiling for budget control. This suits advisory work, business analysis, architecture and planning, agile delivery, and modernising software you already run. | Every estimate starts with a short discovery call. You get a written proposal with named engineers, a delivery timeline and a price before anything is committed. Cost depends on scope, integrations and compliance requirements, so we quote per project rather than from a list. |
