Cookie Policy
for Sosene
Effective date: 15 September 2026
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Sosene Company Limited (“Sosene”, “we”, “our” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on sosenesoftware.com. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data in general.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, keep information on your device in a comparable way. In this policy we use the word “cookies” for both, and the tables below say when an item is local storage rather than a cookie.
First-party items are set by sosenesoftware.com. Third-party items are set by services that we embed in our pages, such as analytics tools or review widgets.
2. How we ask for your consent
On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you choose Accept All, Deny or Customize. Necessary items are always active because the website cannot work properly without them. The functional items listed in section 4 are security or preference items set by features embedded in the page, and they are also active regardless of your choice. Analytics and advertising technologies depend on your choice, as follows:
- Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: analytics and advertising technologies stay off until you allow them. If you close the banner without making a choice, we treat this as a refusal.
- Visitors in other locations: analytics and advertising technologies may be active from the start. You can switch them off at any time, including through the “Do not sell or share my personal information” option.
Your choice is saved for 180 days. We ask again when it expires or when we change the list of technologies we use. Our consent management provider, Elementor, keeps a record of your choice that includes a random consent ID, the categories you allowed, the date, your country, the page address and your browser type.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting Cookie settings here or in the footer of any page.
3. Cookie categories
- Necessary: required for the website to work, to protect our forms against spam and to remember your cookie choices.
- Functional: security and preference items used by embedded features, such as our Clutch reviews widget and the accessibility menu.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the website so that we can improve our content and performance.
- Advertising: help us understand which companies visit our website and support our sales and marketing activities.
